Foreign Correspondent is an experimental docu-travel series created by Rory Pfotenhauer in which topics are generated by intuition and random human interaction. Tracing a meandering path across the globe from the American West, Kenya, Iceland, Vietnam and more, Rory and his partners take the viewer on an introspective journey seeking connection and empathetic consensus across cultures.

Rory and I collaborated to write a short narrative animation to serve as the introduction to the series, which takes the perspective of an alien space traveler meeting the last human on Earth.
